Floral Pop-Up Activation & Social Media-Driven Event

Date

February 2024

Project type

Social Media-Driven Marketing & Retail Expansion

Role

Retail & Brand Experience Lead Designer

Location

Los Angeles

Following the devastating fire in October 2023, our Valentine’s Day Pop-Up was designed not just as a floral retail space but as a bold statement of resilience—letting our customers know we are still here, open, and thriving. Positioned on Ventura Blvd, the pop-up served as both a retail experience and a visually captivating destination, creating Instagrammable moments that encouraged organic social sharing and foot traffic.
Project Overview:
• Reaffirming Presence: A strategic way to reconnect with customers who mistakenly thought we had closed.
• Highly Visible Location: Positioned next to the original store to maintain familiarity and draw in foot traffic.
• Social Media Appeal: Designed an immersive, tacky yet classy Valentine’s aesthetic to encourage user-generated content and word-of-mouth promotion.
Key Highlights:
✅ Designed for Engagement: A Valentine’s-themed space that was both visually striking and highly photographable.
✅ Retail Meets Experience: More than just a floral shop—this was a destination that made celebrating Valentine’s Day fun and shareable.
✅ Community Impact: Created a local buzz, bringing in both returning and new customers through in-person interactions.
✅ Brand Visibility & Awareness: A direct way to show that despite setbacks, we remain open, strong, and ready to serve our customers.
This pop-up was more than just a temporary retail space—it was a symbol of resilience, creativity, and connection, reinforcing our presence in the community while creating a buzz-worthy, shareable Valentine’s experience.
